Spherical Rotors presented “Zero-Emissions Power from Gas Pressure Drops: Why It’s Hard and How We’re De-Risking It” on the Innovation Stage at ECO IMPACT 2026, highlighting the company’s technical progress in this area. Watch the full presentation here. 

We're excited to advance our patented zero-emissions operation expander with support from NGIF Accelerator and four leading industry project partners; Birchcliff Energy Ltd., ATCO, Apex Utilities Inc., and ARC Resources Ltd. In recognition of the innovation, Spherical Rotors was awarded $102,500 from the NGIF Accelerator.

US patent number 12,180,960 granted.  All claims were allowed, providing IP rights that cover the compressor, expander, pump and control valve applications envisioned!
